Hoping they include match fixing episode during Azhar. No need to be diplomatic. Azhar used to hate Sachin after what I heard Sachin put pressure on BCCI to kick him out.

This could be one bolly movie which i won't mind watching even if it is 4 hours. Now I know not verything can be included from his long career but would like to see the chappel episode mentioned.

Also his time off during the tennis elbow episode. Also would like if they show how he decided to quit all of a sudden in ODI's when many thought he might be going for 2015 wc.

Looks much better than that candy floss self publicity MSD movie....this is a documentary and that's the way it should be for most sports-themed biographies.

Azhar was probably the best shot of making an interesting feature film about an interesting character and they blew it

There was an Azhar movie with Emraan Hashmi...terrible movie....such an intriguing story but they made it like a campaign effort to show Azhar as the victim...basically the moral of the story they want to say is Azhar might have taken money from the bookies just to protect his other team mates lol

Trailer is out

I don't know why they made it documentary-style. The excitement is missing and tbh Sachin's voice as narrator is a bad idea.

Will still go for it though, watching in a theater with all the cheering will feel like watching a match live like it did with MSD movie.

Btw, only one other cricketer apart from Sachin makes an appearance.....go check who it is :p:

Looks boring.

But about time they made a movie about a real cricketer.

Hated the movie about the fixer and didn't watch the other movie about the woodcutter.

Anyone here read Sachin's autobiography?

Easily the blandest and worst I have read lol

He way too politically correct to any interesting stuff. Will just a boring documentary.

Haven't read but I can imagine..

You see Sehwag, Gambhir etc. Take stands on issues outside of cricket (Gambhirs tweet yesterday on insult of the CRPF jawan in Kashmir).

Sachin doesn't have any concern for any of this.

Liked lot of things in that when he shares instances from his travel in England as a youngster playing county when he had to get someones car etc and lot of other stuff like that when on different tour, but honestly most other stuff like "I did this" and  "I did that", that was not fun to read. I overal enjoyed it but at the end did feel that he talked and praised about himself too much at times.

P.S - I did get his book signed by him when i met him about 18 months ago here in an elevator :)

You should definitely read it even though I did not enjoy all of it a lot but I did enjoy lot of other things in there , which as an Indian Cricket Fan one would enjoy regardless as he does take us back to many gold moments plus some funny moments from the tour.

I personally enjoyed Dhoni movie a lot as the actor did a brilliant job and especially they shared some honest things

- Dhoni telling his friends why he did not get picked after he saw Yuvraj the night before outside with head phones on on the bike.

- Dhoni missing the train for the game and no one helping him.

- Dhoni becomes star and now running around his local ground and the selector aplogizes him for not able to help him out earlier with selection news and arranging his travel.

- Dhoni sharing how one of the selectors is leaking the news.

And lots of stuff.

I hope Sachin movie does some of that from his life. Trailer is not as fun as it was for Dhoni movie, but I hope the movie is fun.

It was bloody good.

If only they didn't get off track after interval it could have been legendary.

If you saw the movie in theatre it would've been even more amazing. It was like watching WC final live in stadium when the crowd was enthusiastic.
