Proven performer in IPL?

This is problem . Lots of india team picks based on frigging ipl stats . No looking at how they play, techniques etc . Just number crunching based on ipl !!!

I say look look at all first class cricket and have a look not just numbers but how they play and wether will be suited to higher level

That is because all mediocre bowlers were produced by India and Unadkat is one of them. If this unadkat was born in Pakistan he would never get selected for street cricket even. :hysterical:

Usually Indian media hyped their mediocre bowlers as world class. Tries to compare with other legends (Bumrah=Malinga, Shami=Stayne, Unadkat=Starc, Buvi=Kulasekara, Chahal=Warne, etc). Mindless fans also accept that (same like Bangala fans). Poor bowlers get massacred when they face better international players.Careers of Indian bowlers are ruined by Indian media by over hyping their average bowling. They are just good for domestic leagues only. India just produced fast bowlers here and there who were just seen once in a while (season fast bowlers).

This is the truth. If you cannot bear this please down vote this post.

current Indian front line attack in tests/ODIs is up there with world's best. Recent South African test/ODI series, NZ/Aus ODI series demonstrated that. But coming to your point by Unadkat, still doesn't answer the question. We are asking, why is he selected when there are plenty of better pacers in our system. The angle of your post assumes Unadkat is the star find of this current cohort. I think the recently concluded U19 WC highlights the current superiority of India's pace stocks (both in terms of speed/hostility and effectiveness) at the youth level. And remember not every bowler who ever played for Pakistan was a world beater.
