11 years of international cricket and still can't lay bat on moving ball... NO he will HIT

12 years of international cricket and still can't find a way to tackle a bouncer...

And these two are our prospects at 2019 WC... If selectors are to be believed, Indian cricket is a long dead horse

Rohit Sharma is perfect number 6 to see off the 2nd new ball and rampaging broad and Anderson......I heard he can change the course of the game..

accc to sunil gavaskar at six he will never get to face new ball :phehe:

“Rohit Sharma’s batting has always been like a smooth super car that zooms along at great speed even when it does not appear to be doing so. He was left out of the squad for the Test against Afghanistan, but is making a strong case for a recall. Sure, it will be a different attack with Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad coming back to lead the England bowling line-up, but in Tests, Sharma will bat lower down the order and so won’t have to face them with the brand new red ball,” Sunil Gavaskar remarked.

Willey to Rohit, out Caught by Mark Wood! Hence proved: Rohit Sharma, for all his talent, cannot comprehend and process the phenomenon that is lateral movement. This is the result of pressure built over the numerous plays-and-misses. A good length ball on off-stump from over the wicket, a true-wicket shot: flick on the up, and elevated towards deep backward square leg. Rohit c Mark Wood b Willey 2(18)

Sanjay Bangar (Source Cricbuzz) on why Raina was picked..

" The plan was to have a left-hander batting in the middle-order. That is the reason why Suresh was picked ahead of Dinesh.' "

:phehe:..................................:finger:

He ain't batting..he is shuffling all the time to get out and can't play fast bowling or spin nowadays.

I saw Dhoni today in Leeds, he stood right next to me when i was about to cross the road.... he for sure doesnt dress his age as a 40 year old.

I didnt even turn around to ask him for a selfie or autograph. @velu :hehe:

u should have asked him why did he not try to hit earlier...?

My issue is as to why He did not try to Hit...

Harsha needs to stop smoking whatever he is on these days. Nobody is drooling at our so called batting wealth in ODI's. This slow paced lineup cannot match England on a flat pitch.
