These 2 are ATG in odi for a reason coz when they have their day they make it count. Iyer n pant are good but they had a good day and they didnt make it big. Anyone can have a bad day but on good days those 2 are better then anyone.

Kohli, rohit are best when they have time n hand and they run the game acc to them. And no one can cause as much as damage as a set rohit sharma. Guys like dhoni, dravid batted down the order coz they cud....these 2 wont be as successful.  The great aussie team never send gilly hayden ponting down to give clarke batting.

Ur best batsman play most balls thats the rule in LOI

We already have 3 less exp batsman so its always better to have exp batsman around them

 

Bhai .... the need of the hour is building a team for 2023 WC.

 

We need to focus on giving plenty of actual game time with the bat to Iyer, Pant, Rahul and Dube.

 

Rohit and Kohli scoring big ... and us winning this match and series as a result ... won't achieve any purpose.

I don't see any change even with LSRK at helm.. it's kohli & shastri duo which has been calling the shots.. & i see no chief selector to be able to change the current status quo.. dhoni was persisted even with him fluffing indian team big times in last two years.. still kohli used to sing praises of him.. lol he hasn't even retired yet.. & here we hv another passenger from the csk grandpa 11 in name of Kedar jhadhav.. preferably kohli's insurance to thala return.

Im all up for building team n i was saying one of these 2 needs be rested in this series and both in SL t20.

They have to be rotated while resting ....kohli learned coz sachin was resting n yuvi was dropped in that phase....but a lot he learned batting alongside with guys like gambhir , sachin n dhoni in partnership.

 

Im all for these two resting but not up for them batting at wrong positions. TM needs to develop balls to rest these guys from here on specially with so many poor sides around. Im also up for occasional promotion of guys at 3 which was done with dhoni in his early days but very occasionally that to at 3 or 4....making sure kohli doesnt go below 4.

Rahul and Kohli should open. Both can run and score, whereas Rohit is more a boundary seeking batsman.
