Fir wahi bakwaas.....as always be conservatie n safe . Thats y despite so much of talent we cant rule in cricket

Rahane- the guy has an avg of 32, S/r of 78.......not even in form. HOWW???????????

Kuldeep- top batsman are struggling to pick him , when will they pick him once world figures him out

Pant- x-factor

We have missed out on 2 players with X-factor

Predictably uninspiring squad. Yuvi is an Indian LOI great but shouldn't have got another game after WT20 final fiasco. Rahane LOL. No wrist-spinner LOL. I don't think the great Indian ODI purge will happen until we're embarrassed in the 2019 WC.

Dhawan has been mostly pedestrian .. kohli out of form.. rohit regaining it just now.. rahane will eat balls and get out. So onus on kedar and yuvi? Wish rahul was fit

Low risk selection, as usual no balls from selectors

Rahane and Yuvraj, pathetic selections

And surely should have gone for a Leggie

Cant belive they couldn't take punt on Rishab!

MSK Prasad and the rest electors are gutless farts

i don't think Kohli had much say

Still hoping India boycott CT 2017

Rohit

Shikhar

Kohli

Dhoni

Yuvi

Jadhav

Pandya

Jadeja

Bhuvi

Shami/Umesh

Bhumrah

No surprises, opposition have enough plans against them,Dhawan will be strangulated by spinners,Rohit will slowly build his innings,Dhoni will look to build up a partnership with someone who is striking at double his pace,Yuvi will play some sweet shots before a short ball gets him,Jadhav looks good in lower oder,Pandya again looks to have improved but still to see at intl. level and finally everything for the zillionth time will revolve around Kohli.

If its a repeat of WT20 2016,hopefully something good will dawn upon Kohli.

For an opposing team its easy to plan playing Ind as the selections are so predictable.

Aim for early wickets get into the fragile middle order and it's game over as there is zero lower order big hitting

They should have a batting bootcamp for bhuvi ,shami , umesh and Bumrah.Bowling to woh sambhal lenge.

we probably have the worst tail.

Yes because for other teams who have strong middle order, teams wouldn't aim early wickets.

Jaddu is not taking wkts right now.

I feel only one of these should be going and either kuldeep or chahal should have been selected. They both are wkt takers although untested in England.Probably the lack of experience eas the reason they were not selected.

So you go for experienced ones who have been non-performers in ODIs in last 5-6 years. These two got experienced only because they have been given a free run in the side and lot more chances than they deserve. Unlucky is Amit Mishra got so little chances despite being the best ODI spinner in the country. Despite having an exceptional average of 23 and great strike rate, he has always been ignored for the two big names who average 32 and 35 with very poor strike rates.

If quick 3-4 wkts fall in the begining...ash is the one who can be relied on to take us to 50 overs  ...not jaddu.

With our batters in present form....we may face this situation a few times

In that case, Ashwin taking us to 50 overs won't matter as India will definitely lose that match

Rahane is a tried and tested failure in ODIs. Dont know what selectors get out of beating a dead horse. They have done enough damage by selecting him over the last few years but dont seem to have learned their lesson. Yuvraj is past his prime and wont deliver.

Could have gone for Pant, Samson, Shreyas Iyer or even Manoj Tiwary in Yuvraj or Rahane's place or even a wicket taking spinner like Kuldeep Yadav who has the x factor.

Selectors went the safe route as usual and dont have the balls to take tough decisions for the betterment of the team. Disappointed.

There seems to be case of a captain playing his favourites within the Indian team.

What is the point of selectors if Virat will just keep backing his mates? Like his predecessor did
