Lack of wicket taking bowlers.

A primary attack of Bhuvi, Bumrah and Hardik was never going to work. They are all similar kind of bowlers who, at best, can try to restrict runs but with wickets in hand, it's almost impossible to defend any kind of score. We have to go with 5 specialist bowlers for upcoming games, or else is a lost cause for us.

Yadav wastes the new ball and bowls rubbish at the death and no mention of it.

Bhuvi seriously! The worst pacer was Umesh and Bhuvi & Bumrah are at fault! There's bias and then there's this.

Yeah but doesn't leak runs like other bowlers .

 

With the new ball when Bhuvi was going at 3-4 an over , Yadav was gifting runs at 6 an over and releasing all the pressure.

On these wickets, no bowler will look like a wicket taking bowler. India should have scored as many as they could instead of meandering along in the middle overs. Overconfidence cost India this game.

This is a fresh wicket. Curator himself said this is the best batting wicket in the tournament. Scores of 350 have been achieved 11 times in the last 15 ODIs by England. 350 is a par score in England nowadays.

Difference was that Rabada and company were not "saved" for the death overs

The point is India's score was well below par on these types of wickets. People still think 320 is a winning score. Its not anymore.
