Why you dont like Holder? Such a great fighter and making the most of very limited skill he has got and carrying his joke of a team forward. Also he is mostly smiling too :) Any special reason or just contempt for mediocrity.

Obviously contempt for mediocrity is a huge factor but not the sole reason....take Sammy for example...love him...I don't think there is a cricket fan out there who dislikes him but he is as mediocre if not worse than Holder.

 

What is the reason? Well Sammy has the passion,the intent....you put Sammy as the captain of this side-will they lose just as bad-sure? Will it make a difference to the overall result-maybe not. One thing you can be assured of they will try, they will be motivated and they will give it their best shot.

 

Holder looks like a nice guy-sure but seems to meek and is a WICB stooge which is why they probably made him captain.

 

Mediocre+lack of passion/intent makes me hate his ugly mug.

I am sure that deep down even he must be embarassed that his first man of series came against a WI C side that didn't even qualify for ct2017 and is most likely not going to qualify for WC 2019. Moreover barring the century and 60+ in first game all his knocks were pathetically slow. If KL was part of this series he would have scored minimum of 400 runs in the serie with atleast 2 centuries.

 Virat Kohli : First and foremost, the aim was to win the series, have a complete team performance and a couple of standout performances. Special mention to Rahane who has been consistent throughout the series. It has been a while in ODI cricket and the way he batted was outstanding.
