But disappointed that there is no Pant.   (   I was getting the feeling that our team management is not fully impressed with Pant..... the way they are impressed with youngsters like Pandya, Rahul , Bumrah or Kuldeep  )

1) Rahane. Let him introspect his LOI batting by dropping him. 

2) Dhoni : Selfish and Chipkoo.

3) Axar Patel: Mediocre.

 

Positives:

1) Shardul being rewarded.

2) Y Chahal and Kuldeep both in squad.

3) No Yuvi.

 

Siraj, K Pandya and Pant should've been there in squad. Siraj resting Bumrah. Pant in place of Rahane. K Pandya in place of Axar.

 

Can someone explain why dhoni has to play an useless series against SL if he is not insecure of his place? R Pant being dropped. Suspicious?

Like I said in some other thread, Pant would find it difficult to get regular chances till dhoni hangs around. Just too much risk for Dhoni's place.
