Khota
I have a funny feeling that he may have come to close to his peak speed at this age. Around 130 wont do it. But good luck to this young kid. I hope he along with others are very successful. Link to comment

Good pace.....ohh please Look at the time that batsman has , he is no inzy or rohit even An occasional 1 in 15 balls wud be 130 for him.......he is easily around 120k-125....i wnt be surpised if few deliveries are under 120k We see kohli regularly on tv against bowlers with speed gun so its easy to catch his speed, apart from that ball in his ribs nothing looks around 130k. His pace will increase much more once his follow through get better Link to comment

jf1gp_1
Poor kid so much pressure. anyways he is 18, not in U19 india safe to say he isn't playing for India (sure one can argue not all come from U19 but lets be realistic if the kid had talent he would be on his way to NZ). Lets see if he can have any kind of Ranji career. Link to comment
rkt.india
Quote Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun sparkles on Australia debut, blasts 27-ball 48 and claims four wickets NEW DELHI: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legend Sachin Tendulkar, continues to make headlines with his impressive performances. The 18-year-old is currently in Australia to take part in Spirit of Cricket Global Challenge, a competition organised by the Sydney Cricket Ground.Playing for Cricketer's Club of India against Hong Kong Cricket Club in a T20 match at the revered Bradman Oval, Arjun produced an eye-catching all-round performance on Thursday as he clubbed 48 runs off 27 deliveries as an opener and also picked up four wickets in four overs."I'm just so privileged to play on the ground named after the Bradman, it's unbelievable," Arjun was quoted as saying by abc.net.au on Thursday. While Sachin Tendulkar made his name as batsman, breaking records after records for fun, his son has opted to become a bowler and a pacer at that. He is a left-arm pacer who also bats left-handed."I just got stronger [growing up], grew taller and I loved bowling fast from my childhood. I thought I may as well be a quick bowler because there aren't many in India," he said. This is not the first time that Arjun has drawn attention. Apart from impressing in domestic competitions, he made waves when in July last year, he struck England batsman Jonny Bairstow with a well-directed yorker during a net session. After copping the blow, Bairstow needed medical attention. The six-foot plus Arjun counts Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc and England allrounder Ben Stokes among his role models. Arjun carries enormous weight of expectations being the son of Little Master but he is not affected by that. "I don't take that pressure, when I bowl I just hit the deck hard on every ball and when I bat just play my shots and choose which bowlers to take on and which bowlers not to," he said. The Spirit of Cricket Global Challenge aims at "promoting spirit of the game and celebrating the many friendships built through it." The tournament began on January 7 and will continue till January 14. Eight teams are participating at the event including SCG XI, Marylebone Cricket Club, Cricketer's Club of India, Singapore Cricket Club, Hong Kong Cricket Club, South Australian Cricket Association, Singalese Cricket Club and Izingari. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/sachin-tendulkars-son-arjun-sparkles-on-australia-debut-blasts-27-ball-48-and-claims-four-wickets/articleshow/62459311.cms beetle and Mosher 2 Link to comment

Dada's Army
First things first, he is much farther along than I expected. He's got a few things going for him: He's got a nice tall frame, age on his side, and the advantage of being an uncommon leftie. Whats hard is to guage his skill level and general consistency. Looks quite raw to me. Seems to be bowling around 75 mph but judging by that bouncer, he has a decent effort ball. It's not uncommon for fast bowlers to make their first class debut at ages 21-23. Having just turned 18 he has plenty of time to improve. Certainly looks like he has the basic ingredients to become a good professional cricketer.Rest is up to his dedication. tweaker 1 Link to comment
Cricketics
He is just 18 years old, so has plenty of time. Next 3-4 years are really important for him. Need to stay fit and just look to bowl fast and he will improve surely. Knowing Sachin's work ethics, I am sure Arjun will work as hard. Looking forward to some interesting development an year or two from now regarding him. Not interested in reading between now and next 1 year, but two years from now when he has matured and is around 20 years is when he would have reached a stage where we can start having hope or no hope from him.
