I reckon a consensus opinion amongst former test players would tend to suggest something. I'm glad you think your views on test cricket are more accurate than the consensus opinion of ex test players. Says something about you and the credibility of your posts.

Appears I stepped on your tail 4 wkts down dumbass. Go listen to commentary, you may learn something

maniac Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 This may turn into an epic innings from Pujara but OP has a point....not scoring and getting into a shell, usually helps improve the rhythm of the bowlers and also puts pressure on everyone....especially when batting first. Pujara needs to play out and minimize risk absolutely but not at the cost of not looking for scoring opportunities...which is what hee seems to be doing overseas. mancalledsting and Laaloo 2
sarcastic Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 I see that this thread was made 3 hours ago and the live score of Pujara is still in 40's. I wonder OP definitely has a point. How long will it take for Pujara to get to 100. mancalledsting 1

Frustrated Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Here we go again. Pujara gets his well deserved hundred.
Straight Drive Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) Better to have someone scoring 50 at SR of 20 than 5 batsman who score 19 at SR of 200+ or whatever that pleases (Vijay - 8, Rahul - 0, Ajinkya - 9, Parthiv - 2, Hardik - 0). This batting lineup is clearly dependent upon Virat and Chet. Others cannot even survive, forget their strike rate. They will get out 4-5 times if they bat as many balls as Chet has done in this match. Edited January 24, 2018 by Straight Drive kruiser, zen and The Dark Horse 2 1
zen Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 (edited) If Gavaskar were playing today, some idiots would be complaining why he isn't batting like Richards. And that Gavaskar, the best Indian test batsman, is not an ATG because of his SR Edited January 24, 2018 by zen kruiser 1
zen Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Early on Ind had lost 2 wkts. Kohli was dropped multiple times. And some folks chose to focus on Pujara's SR How dumb the forum can get? Shunya 1
Tattieboy Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 The bright side for India is that England only have 2 batsmen in first five too. Should be a very even series
speedheat Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Looks like that metal cheetah has whiffed some mantra in his ears Insidious 1

kira Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 A decent innings by him today but still if you dont score runs after playing so many balls then your impact on the game will be very low. Dravid also used to play play a lot of dots but he always made sure to cash in and make a big score once set mancalledsting 1
Jimmy Cliff Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Suniel Shetty in the 90s "Tum maarte maarte thak jaaoge, par main maar khate khate nahin thakunga". Pujara right now "Tum dot ball daalte daalte thak jaaoge, par main dot ball khelte khelte nahin thakunga!" mancalledsting, FischerTal, philcric and 4 others 7
