These Six players and the combination must play for India to win in England and Australia

Top Middle order at 3-4-5 of Pujara-Kohli-Rahane along with bowling attack of Bumrah-Bhuvi-Shami.

 

Together this bowling batting combination will aid each other in helping India win the series.

 

 

Rest all can be changed and their perfomance should be monitored but these 6 guys must be given proper chance to play together as a combo and I guarantee we will win.

 

If you are against the idea of BBS attack and the trip of batsmen I shared above then please tell me a better combo.

With an unstable opening partnership, you are always exposing 3,4,5 to the new ball and you are asking for trouble. To put good scores in SA, Eng or even Aus or NZ, you need good opening opening partnerships which can see off the new ball and also give some confidence to other batsmen. Vijay did that to an extent in the previous tours, but dont think he will come good this time around. Also Rahane is out of form and you cant count on other batsmen apart from Kohli and Pujara to a certain extent. Batting will be a huge problem. IMO its how the other 6-7 contribute that will decide India's future in the coming series.

They will create history by being whitewashed. Little chance this team is even drawing games never mind winning them. 

 

Openers are critical and the current sorry lot barely make it into double digits. This then exposes a woefully out of form middle order which is more intent on survival then scoring and often collapses. Any runs that are mustered are by the tail throwing the bat. 200-250 totals are not winning any games.

 

Even if the six players are all in form then what exactly are the other five doing, making the numbers? Can't expect to do well when half the team are passengers

I think might not do us harm if rahane and Vijay play county cricket along with pujara,also might not harm us weebit if we send the few of the bowlers whom we consider can be an asset in English conditions, both Shami,saini can play in county .

But the thing is foreigners do play in county, pujara is playing, ishant played so did ashwin, I am sure if bcci allows a lot of teams will be interested in taking services of these gentlemen .

I don't think counties think that way, they want international stars or rather batters who can help them win ,like zak did or those who can be asset for them.

You can do precisely that. All that matters is whether the given player is good enough to command a starting spot in the team as an overseas player (recall that overseas slots are restricted in number).

Edited to add: if they are good enough, you could send a whole 30-man contingent consisting of the "probables" for the away tour.

No you can't just send across,  only if they are wanted firstly can they play.

Actually they have, circa 1940s. Many English players were a part of the winning Ranji teams of the 1930s and the 40s. Pre-Independence days. Some teams had a British quota too.

For the British, it was a windfall gain , from colonizing India. Their cricketers became well versed with conditions in India.

In the short term, the core is fine .... Need to add a spinner who can turn the ball on most surfaces relatively speaking .... and a good WK (if he can bat well that would be an added bonus) .... Someone like Pandya too gives Ind the flexibility to play 3 seamers (vs 4) and a spinner .... try to get a couple of youngsters in as well where applicable
