Later we evolved into a fine academy to train players to be top class in T20. So much so that by even sitting on MI benches players learn and become top notch players...After graduation, we release these players for the benefit of other teams (its another matter that other teams and fans never recognise our contribution or appreciate us)...We usually release trained players after we win the IPL... So we start with a new group of players and it takes us 1-2 years to make them IPL winning bunch... But one thing we do is select players who are enough to thrash the Podus (whenever they are available and in whichever form).So rest assured, this year won’t be any exception... anticipating this they’ve gone for a Dad’s Army this time so that they are experienced in absorbing the thrashing... They’re not bothered about unearthing any new talent and put it back for the benefit of other IPL teams... we do that at the risk of losing...BTW this year Governing Council has not authorised us to win the IPL (us being last years winners)... so we will just enjoy this IPL thrashing the Podus... They already picked up Rashid and Shakib but went on to pick up Nabi aswell. Could have used that money to buy a local talent or something. Our bowling should do well even though the spinners are untested but they should be an improvement over bhajji. And no rayadu that's addition by subtraction. Let him go to csk and deliver biryani for dhoni. As far as Dhoni is concerned, who will he hide behind this time like he did last time? Lungi? These injuries take a long time to heal. SKY for the price is a dumb pick. Pollard Rtmed is an annoying choice. Letting Bhajji and Biryani go is a great relief. Overall a tricky team. If the trust shown on Pandya bros and bumrah pays off along with few gambles, it will be a balanced side and most probably in top 4. As far as trashing CSK goes without Meiyappan's help CSK is helpless. And against MI they are always crap or let's put it this way we beat the crap out of them. If you go for any of the games, you'd find the loudest cheer for him. After Sachin that is. Makes sense that we retained him. And he can score fast.
