Tridibans_16 Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) Bumrah and Kumar will end up with all time great bowling figures! (For Indian pacers that is...) Shami is good but also injury prone. Edited January 27, 2018 by Tridibans_16

CG Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Looks more like fitness management to me. Did not look moody in tests in Asia. They showed Shastri giving him a pep talk about hitting the pitch hard.
CG Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 We should continue with this attack and not chop and change.Bhuvi the swing bowler,Bumrah Shami Yadav strike bowlers ,Ishant The workhorse .May be Saini Should get a look in. Rightarmfast and Mosher 2

ravishingravi Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) As much as I loved our bowling this series, I also felt that there is marked scope for improvement. Shami and Ishant definitely. Umesh needs to now get his act together. Edited January 27, 2018 by ravishingravi
surajmal Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 They are adequate. Now down to batting to figure its **** out. They just need to get their act together for a period of 7 months. Then its 2 more years of home cooking / weak opposition where Ashwin/Jaddu will carry them as usual.
Pollack Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 @express bowling stretching abilities tbh. Bumrah : pace, bounce Ishant : Bounce (not great in it either) Bhuvi : Swing Shami : Swing and seam
velu Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 @express bowling can you please delete Ishanth in your OP ? express bowling 1

Bhuvi is a very accurate bowler and is quite astute ( has the ability to read match situations and batsmen's weaknesses ) Bumrah gets a lot of seam movement and can generally land the ball where he wants. People who watch bowling don't really doubt Shami's pace and bounce. I called Ishant a workhorse, which he is. Peshust 1

This allowed the enforcer bowlers like Bumrah and Shami to attack more freely. I will spare him for this test : ) But, he won't work in a 3-pacer attack. If you are able to assess talent , you will always support them through thick and thin. What if kohli was kicked out within 1 year of his test debut after pretty ordinary results ? Think what is needed his some sane and practical thinker in team management who is not just a yes Man. Some one like Gary Rightarmfast 1
