I always love Asia cup....sad that it does not get much coverage. Earlier it used to be boring and Ind-Pak game was the only highlight. But now with emergence of Afg & BD, Asia cup has potential to be a blockbuster if advertised correctly.

 

Asia cup > IPL any day for me.

Why?

I always rate international matches more than club game. Not only in cricket but in all sports. Part of the reason I am not a big fan of EPL. Sports is nothing without passion and nothing brings more passion than playing for the country.

Major policy change by the BCCI.   After the match-fixing scandal, BCCI unilaterally decided to stop playing games at non-cricket countries' venues such as Toronto, UAE etc.   At least for the national team.

 

I'm seeing signs of an early alignment by the BCCI with the UAE board.  

 

This also lays the legal groundwork for the possibility of an eventual 'bilateral' series between India-Pakistan in the UAE as well.
