teams cant divorce the players for another 2 years :phehe:

also dont think many talents  will be available in the auction

Goes to show how brainless IPL team management are... who in the right mind would retain Axar and Mohit after this year's debacle.

 

Same with Maxwell... he can do well in BBL as pitches are flat decks with bounce... he cant play on Indian pitches and thats been exposed since his India leg of IPL 2014

Cnt keep throwing everyone , both arent still that bad and have done well in IPl. Neither they are at wrong side of age

Like afridi he has this image which is tempting n always will be + his bowling n fieldling

Every year he ll be a tempting offer take yuvrasj singh xample....despite failing yr after yr he still gets picked

Yuvraj, Vinay, Gambhir for sure.

Axar and Mohit might still be considered utility players 

 

Other players that might face the axe or switch franchises: 

 

Harbhajan

Sundar

M Ashwin 

Tahir

Fatty Khan

Unadkat (probably to release some money and maybe buy an uncapped player)

Willey (csk has not handled him well. Ther might end up releasing him)

I think  Ambanis will poach Iyer or Shaw depending how their career go in the next 12 months. If that does not happen then Surya Yadav will be groomed as next leader and Rohit will be shown the door. They are ruthless business guys, yaari dosti can keep him in the Indian team under Kohli not in MI.

Why SKY?? One of the Pandya bros or Bumrah will be groomed... They are sureshot in every playing XI that MI can put together

Iyer has a huge chance LMFAOO.
He is already leading India A and is garnering a permanent spot in India's ODI squad despite being not good enough for International Squad.
He is also a part of Bunty Mafia.
If everything is alright, he will join MI within 2-3 years.
Ambanis believe in Local maal.
Even Shaw might be poached.
DD anyways doesn't keep their players for long.

That Markande guy played all the matches although later stages he was found out and struggled to take wickets...

They didn’t tried other bowlers (leg spinner Chahar etc). The team is full of show ponies.

The way Rohit played the whole tournament with his constipated look, maybe it’s time to release him and look for a new captain.

KruPa has some potential. The less said about HaPa the better... They’ve used this part time allrounder as main bowling option.

Evin Lewis can also be released.

Pollu is now a mascot of the team so he’ll stay till he retires from T20s...

They tried for Iyer in 2016 by offering Finch and two other players to DD but the DD franchise declined the offer as they were grooming Iyer for the leadership.
