Mosher Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Very good analysis by Nehraji. He knows the strengths and weakness of all the bowlers. Umesh's success this IPL had a lot to do with Nehra. Make him the bowling coach Cricket_Fan, Suhaan, express bowling and 6 others 3 1 5
Sgattick10 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Good advice. Lets see if they implement this in matches. speedheat 1

vvvslaxman Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 We are not good at anything we still advise :) SO i won't discount his advice. Of all the three Umesh is more likely to make an impact with even slight improvement. Umesh also has to improve his ability to set up batsmen. Ishant's problem is not just length. It is much more than that. Shami is good at setting up batsmen. He has the mindset of taking wickets. But at this point he is not going at full tilt to improve the duration in a match. He has all the ingredients. Almost if not. Switchblade and Vilander 2
Moochad Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Nehraji is stating the obvious. I think we all on icf say the same things Switchblade 1

The fact that two 30 year olds and a late 30 something have such glaring weaknesses inspires little confidence that they will do much in a tough test series, just have not got the stamina or the skills to last that long. velu, LORD_analyst, vvvslaxman and 1 other 2 2

Switchblade Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Quote Cook trolling us https://www.hindustantimes.com/cricket/india-vs-england-alastair-cook-feels-india-pace-pack-could-make-difference-this-time/story-kubfPBCYX45q3HoIfL5iqM.html ndia vs England: Alastair Cook feels India pace pack could make difference this time “Over the last couple of years – certainly in the last 10 years I’ve played them – they haven’t had the option of playing five or six different types of seamers. That’s different to what I have experienced in the past but we’ll see over the next six weeks.” “But they seem to have got a good variety of bowlers and pace bowlers, which is probably unusual, and strength in depth in their pace bowling.
Pollack Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Ishant needs to work on his length, Umesh on his line, and Shami on his fitness - Ashish Nehra and Nehraji needs to work on teeth.
