That’s why we have 3 formats so fans can follow the ones they prefer!

Following Ind’s tests overseas esp in SENA is usually a painful experience. It can mainly be about who bats and bowls well rather than winning .... And mistakes made in this format can be unforgiving

Playing test cricket is very different from watching test cricket (latter requires more patience than former), at least losing a LOI game feels bad but that feeling disappears quick, losing a test match is literally slow painful humiliation. Why stress out at things you have no control over.

It is not always about winning esp in SENA where Ind has a poor record in tests .... At times, you enjoy good performance, see how youngsters are shaping up

1st innings lead is vital for us in SENA countries. 150 isn't enough luxury considering conditions have eased out now. Bowlers and captain are under serious pressure because they know once the lead crosses 50 we are done and dusted. That is why they are trying too hard, making extra effort to bowl unplayable balls. This happens to every team, even to the greatest bowlers.

Yup, even a 50 runs lead will be big in context of low scoring matches.

Dont write off the spinners. England are a weak side against spin regardless of the pitch. Ashwin and Kuldeep may well turn out to be instrumental in the second innings.

I would like to see a spinner pacer tandem this afternoon. Ashwin has these guys freaked out, im sure he can pick up a couple of wickets.

Ideally india can have a bit of a bat today without losing wickets.

India needs genuine, gifted swing bowlers to exploit these conditions. These are not swing bowlers even if we pretend to believe they are.

we have one and he is injured

No that is not the case, these are some tough batting conditions. Curran chancy innings is the difference between two teams. Don't write off this Indian team so easily, they have lot of fight.

Oh so yday u were criticising Rahul left and right and now suddenly condition become bad for English batter.

4 wkts down, get Ashwin now and break partnerships. After the first test in SA, when Pandya scored 93, he got one wicket, 3 tests later, he gets one here. So much for a batting allrounder. I am still not convinced of his utility.

Root was out of touch today.

Bairstow looks dangerous and with Curran playing, England might win this game too.

You still have doubt. Any lead of 100+ runs,  will be good enough for a Innings defeat.

seems like giving easy singles to bairstow to get buttler on strike... dunno doesnt sound like good tactics... bairstow can cause lot of problems
