Key when we bowl is not to give away runs for the first 10 overs. Keep it tight until the lacquer comes off the the ball will do plenty.

Ok they didn't listen...

I am sure not even our legendary batting lineup of past would have done much better. Maybe they would have lasted for 10-20 overs more. But that's it.

They'd certainly have outlasted this current lot, by a margin of 50 to 100 runs perhaps.

Bumrah is bowling ODI length. Needs to hit the good length more often.

he has mostly bowled good length, check hawkeye data.

Not lasting 40 overs on day 1 is pathetic to say the least.

Ssshhhh, it is a cardinal sin to blame Indian batsmen. Even if they are 42 all out all the blame must go only to the bowlers. This is the Indian Cricket Caste system we are talking about.

It is just pathethic that we need a spinner to operate in these conditions to get wickets,

Not pathetic. Common sense to bowl a guy who enjoys the new ball against two left handers who don't particularly enjoy facing him.

But the main argument wasnt even batsmen were good or not. I am saying they got all the blame when bowlers were equally bad and couldn't even match 50% of the opposition bowlers.

Then he should have opened the bowling.

Does Sridhar even work with our slip catchers? A bunch of school kids will do a better job.

I am willing to bet those slip catchers take 20 out of 20  every day

This disheartening, Ind bowlers getting zero swing

England bowled gun barrel straight for the first 10 overs of their innings too
