Its a 350 pitch. Expect India to do a bit better since Eng do not have fast bowlers..so 400 would be par for India..provided they do well. so yeah 380 390 ?

This is a 400 pitch and without Woakes to contend with expect us to get >450. Indian batsmen can't have it easier, once again bowlers have handed them the initiative after we lost the toss.

i also think that Indian batsman should score big on this Pitch..probably 350 at least , with a 104 run lead we can win the Match by getting them around 200 in the next innings and then scoring 100 odd runs required.

 

Dhawan was batting very well today , not playing balls that are way outside of offstump and Borad looked more dangerous then the slower Anderson, if bowl swings less ANDERSON danger becomes very less.

curran also wont be able to swing at high Pace as he is under 135K ,stokes seem to be not at his best fitness.

i dont think rashid or moen ali will bother us much on this Pitch where ashwin looked average.

Some folks are jinxing Ind. Earlier said Eng will get bowled out for 120 and it got twice as many

 

Now the talks are of Ind getting around 350, I hope, we don’t get bundled out for 170-180

Anderson and broad are primary threats. Curran trundles inswingers, was gifted 4 wickets in the 1st innings of the tour and has done nothing much since then. Stokes is unlikely to bowl long spells.

 

Ali and Rashid if played sensibly will give 4 an over.

India has been previously guilty of throwing away wickets. This a game where batsmen have to make it big. Pandya, pant, ashwin and shami should make some runs as our lower order. All down to the start we get.
