  1. 1. Who will win the Oval test?

If/when we get bowled out tomorrow, our pace bowlers would have bowled on all 3 days (and would possible on day 4 too) in the "5th" test

In hindsight, we should have rotated the pace bowlers in this long test series. On top of that we dropped Pandya

we lost 3-1 with Pandya and lost 2-1 is SA..time to move on. Vihari with bat is much more assured than Pandya with bat. So , it proves.

Vihari and Pandya do not even compete with each other and play different roles .... That 1 test win is due to Pandya .... Both of them can play :winky:

nope atleast u had 1-1 wins with pandya

I dnt remember the last time we won with 6 batsman

Instead what u have done today is bowled ur fast bowlers 30 over on the last test of 5th series and yet they wud bowl 15 overs more

Had u started with this by the end of the series higher chances bumrah wud have been injured, shami retired, ishant trundeling

Go to aus on pattas where 500  runs are put on board same thing will happen, n u knw thw work load on bumrah n bhuvi

If u wanna play vihari u can replace him with a batsman since none are scoring apart from kohli, dnt give ur batsman a free ride and add cushion to hide their failure

Even if pandya fails with bat he contributes with ball, even if he doesnt take wkts he gives ur fast bowlers rest.....and we have fast bowlers not trundlers ....they shud be used at full steam.

Everyone has a job in the team to do and right question is to make pujara, dhawan, vijay, rahul(somewhat) , rahane liable ....and give youngsters like pant, pandya breathing space

Play as many batsman as possible its all in head, jst becoz ur batsman are failing dnt increase the workload on bowlers ull break them to and it has happ in 2013-14 (when zak broke down, shami and ishant dropped pace)

Now he ll say the scoreline could have easily 4-1 in their favour but still the boys were better than players of previous generation. All that with a smug face and arrogant tone.

and we need to see mirror

we need to learn how to cross line

but this team showed fight

everyone struggled in away condition and we gave them a tough fight

Australia needs 4 Pacers and one spinner.

Can pandya play good on backfoot?

Ashwin plays a bit late. So in Australia he might struggle with bat.

Now we need to identify top 5 bats. Only kohli and pujara. 3 spots for grabs. (Openers and batsman 6)

4 bowlers are ishant,siraj,bumrah and ash/jadeja

Wicketkeeper - pant

Floating spot - vihari, nair, pandya, vijayshankar, bhuvi

On patta 500+ score tracks need a proper bat. So vijayshankar or nair or vihari depending on how the track is.

Good bouncy track 350-400 pandya should get in.
