Yup his batting has been the biggest miss .had he been there in the first test and especially first innings of the 4th test ,we would have won one of those test and off course add his bowling which would have been miles better than shami

Any batsman is vulnerable outside off stump in these conditions especially when the ball is new and there is movement. That's why you have 3-4 slip fielders and bowlers bowl that line and most batsmen get caught behind or in the slips. Even Bradman will never be 100 % sure outside off stump.

Pressure of having to perform , with a team management carrying an axe around. No one seems composed and assured of their places.
