this Guy has some goodwill with foreign media for some reason and he uses it to full advantages

Mast angreji bolta hai.  Oxford University ka chokra hai. West loves such "well-spoken gentlemen" even if they are hollow within.

I love how Padosis downplay the role of their army in running the country as if army's job is to govern & make foreign policies.

Regarding the cancellation of the meeting, there has been cancellation of the meet between top officials from both the countries n number of times in previous decades due to various reasons. A BSF soldier's body was mutilated & when BSF tried to contact rangers they did not respond. Hence after sunset BSF had to begin the search op where his body was found near the LOC. Even after getting the news of this ghastly attack GOI didn't cancel the event, it took murder of 3 J&K policemen & huge pressure from all circles in these hours for GOI to cancel the proposed meeting between the foreign ministers.

If Imran considers it as an insult then he could surely bugger off.

You tell them Imran.

I think the average Indian respects Imran Khan more than their own corrupt politicians.

The average Indian respected Imran Khan the captain of Pak team which lead them to a WC win just like a Clive Lloyd or Allan Border. Pre 2013 Imran Khan the politician wasn't much discussed in India.

And talking about corrupt politicians, do you really think that having the likes of Sheikh Rashid & Shah Mehmood Qureshi as cabinet ministers Imran is leading a group of Sufi saints?

He is just a puppet who is adept in taking U-turns. A few years back he was cursing the army & now with its help became the PM.

I sometimes wonder what would have been Imran's legacy if that group match in 1992 WC between EngVsPak in which Pak was dismissed for 74 hadn't been washed out, when they were on verge of exit.No tag of WC winning captain to hog limelight & launching himself into politics.

Or if Inzi hadn't bailed his ass out after snail like slow batting in semifinals. Good to see India not succumb to his charm and pamper him with attention and importance. India has nothing to discuss right now with a country which unleashes terror and honors militants.

There are many people especially who have a say in the national media who believe this crap from Imran. In the social media too Peaceniks from our side stood up & targetted Modi instead of giving it back to that crazy narcissist, thankfully they were answered in the language they understand.

ISLAMABAD: In a blunt, orchestrated and unprecedented warning, the civilian government has informed the military leadership of a growing international isolation of Pakistan and sought consensus on several key actions by the state.

As a result of the most recent meeting, an undisclosed one on the day of the All Parties’ Conference on Monday, at least two sets of actions have been agreed.

First, ISI DG Gen Rizwan Akhtar, accompanied by National Security Adviser Nasser Janjua, is to travel to each of the four provinces with a message for provincial apex committees and ISI sector commanders.

The message: military-led intelligence agencies are not to interfere if law enforcement acts against militant groups that are banned or until now considered off-limits for civilian action. Gen Akhtar’s inter-provincial tour has begun with a visit to Lahore

..

On the US, Mr Chaudhry said that relations have deteriorated and will likely further deteriorate because of the American demand that action be taken against the Haqqani network. On India, Mr Chaudhry stated that the completion of the Pathankot investigation and some visible action against Jaish-i-Mohammad were the principal demands.

Then, to a hushed but surprised room, Mr Chaudhry suggested that while China has reiterated its support for Pakistan, it too has indicated a preference for a change in course by Pakistan. Specifically, while Chinese authorities have conveyed their willingness to keep putting on technical hold a UN ban on Jaish-i-Mohammad leader Masood Azhar, they have questioned the logic of doing so repeatedly.

..

Addressing Gen Akhtar, the younger Sharif complained that whenever action has been taken against certain groups by civilian authorities, the security establishment has worked behind the scenes to sett he arrested free. Astounded onlookers describe a stunned room that was immediately aware of the extraordinary, unprecedented nature of the exchange.

To defuse tensions, Prime Minister Sharif himself addressed Gen Akhtar and said that policies pursued in the past were state policies and as such they were the collective responsibility of the state and that the ISI DG was not being accused of complicity in present-day events.
