Player Mat Inns NO Runs HS Ave BF SR 100 50 0 4s 6s
SS Iyer 7 6 2 373 144 93.25 344 108.43 2 2 0 24 22

Hack or no hack, the guy scored the most runs for Mumbai as they won the Vijay Hazare Trophy this year.

That's even more alarming.......

Above number suggest that he is in form....

If he plays like this when he is in form, imagine what he will do when he is out-of form....

Little bit of spice in the pitch and this guy is all over the ball...

India still looking for a no. 4 bat in ODIs and we have Vihari winning matches for his team in same position. But he will surely get overlooked for Rayudu.

My worry with vihari is can he hit sixes or up the tempo when needed!

Vihari is clearly better than the likes of Raydud and Jadhav, and he can also bowl. If we can play him in the middle order at #4, that will leave one more vacant spot for a batsman at 5 or 6.

Pant at 5, Rahul at 6 and Pandya at 7. This is a lot better than what we have currently.

Shaw and Saini dropped.

Do these guys want us to watch these games or go away  ?

I think it's a must win game for both the teams. It's only logical you play your best players in matches like these so that they will learn how to perform in extreme conditions. It's similar to a knockout stage.

Shaw and Saini are their best players ...  who have played for India or got into the squad.  And both are India-A regulars.

these games are not about winning or losing but more about giving chances to others.  They are not dropped, just rotated.
