Mayank who is an opener will replace Rahul who was a backup opener. Pandya will either be replaced by a seamer alrounder which we dont have, i don't count Shankar as a seam alrounder, as he is a batsman who can bowl part-time, or by a fast bowler as we only have 4 seamers in the squad. I would like them to develop former U19 Darshan Nalkande as a fast bowling alrounder who is known for his big hitting and can bowl quite quick for a 20 year old. UrmiSinhaRay and Switchblade 1 1

fineleg Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 When are the replacements being announced? Are there even any replacements being announced? GautiMaan and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1
Jimmypage Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 For Rahul - Agarwal or Gill For Hardik - not a lot of seam all-round options, but can select Shivam Dube, you never know might turn out be an inspiring selection, there is always an opportunity in adversity But to take such decisions you gotta have gumption, which clearly nobody has in the selection process, so expect the likes of Pandey for Rahul and may be Chahar for Pandya
SK_IH Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 I want a 3-0 in this series.Phonies were exposed today, another round of bashing would be useful in the long run. UrmiSinhaRay 1
Samcric Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Pant and Shankar. Shankar was brilliant with the bat in NZ and economical with the ball. UrmiSinhaRay 1
