Kuldeep looks like he has got something we can work with. His flicks of the pads are pretty good. He has a lot of scope for improvement

 

Chahal surprised rather shocked in the 4th one dayer. He was handling even Boult by getting behind. He executed some well connected shots. In case if he is stuck with a top order bat we need this guy to hang around. prior to this innings i thought he was utterly hopeless

 

Bumrah - less said the better. Don't think he will ever improve

 

Shami - Mindless slogger. But he probably thinks his slogging is better than his defense.

 

Bhuvi - we know he can bat like a proper batsman. 

 

Don't expect them to produce some magical lance klusner cameos. Hope they don't collapse in a heap whenever there is a middle order collapse. This is one of the most imbalanced side we have ever taken to world cup.  Weak middle order weak lower order.

Not rescue you. Just stay with the top order to add valuable runs if needed. For instance in a 320 pitch India is 290/7.. wouldnt you want them to hang around?

This is a bigger problem in tests but even in LO it can hurt us in crucial games. Lower order runs are vital in close games but seems too many here think the only job of bowlers is to bowl, their lackluster fielding or appalling batting be damned!

bhuvi can bat a bit and kuldeep as well.. 

our tail is fine for test matches .. 

 

in ODIs these guys cant score freely if needed .. if our lower middle order is good or in form we can manage with this current tail..

Concentrate on improving the bloody middle order. This is a waste of time and an exercise which will lead low results at best.

Depends on what they do in the world cup. They could go home zeroes or heroes. Karthik was toast of nation for a very long time after just 8 ball violence against Rubel hossein and co.
