Wish we had kuldeep today, this total is totally defendable if we get early wickets.

Yep Kuldeep would have been meant a victory for sure But let's see what Vijay Shankar can deliver

We need to accommodate both Shankar and Pandya. 2 different types of allrounders. Shankar’s innings today was worth it’s weight in gold as well.

Been saying that for a while.. Shankar is Kedar's back up as the No.6 batsman and the 6th bowler..

With Kedar's injury history, it gives a solid back up, and also adds to more options in the line up.

Don’t have expectations from him as a bowler. Looking at his list a stats he hardly bowls for his state in that format. He is more of a batsman who can bowl.

Even If he is robin Singh level bowler, it's good enough considering that he is a proper batsman.

Great batting by Pandya. Throw out Dhoni. Play Shankar, Pandya and Jadhav.

I'll take this gladly. Only put in Pant for dhoni.

Is this true?

If you see a fat kid in India he is from a wealthy family.

Skinny under nourished looking kid and he is from a poor lower caste family?

Looks like you had that typed up and were waiting to hit submit for a while :giggle:

Now that's just petty.  Don't go all "mean girls"  just because you got on the Jermaine Blackwood bandwagon, and others were able to spot Pandya's obvious potential

LoL you are such a pandya fanboi.

Suck it up Polly, you're just salty.  :p:And Chahal is a more dependable wrist spinner in LOIs than Kuldeep.

10 runs short

More like 30.  Once you see off the first 5-7 overs, this is a 300 track.  You can fight with 280, but we are short a whole bunch.  And short one bowler too.  Shankar/Kedar will have to bowl 10 today.  And Pandy will have to bowl full quota.

Pretty s*** umpiring today. Clear wides not given & that umpire Shaun George was an absolute disgrace. Missed a short run but reviewed it based on the appeal of Trent Boult.

Shaun George is clearly biased against Ind

Pandya supporter here. Just not a fanboi. Chahal dependable? Smoke him for a few big ones and he would start shitting his pants.

hmm  that's why Virat drops Kuldeep in T20 and trusts Chahal when the going gets tough eh?

Love them both, but if I had to pick one for LOI, Chahal edges Kuldeep, unless opposition is lefty-heavy in top order.

Btw, those "quotes" regarding Pandya were for a couple of geniuses we have here on ICF who insist that Pandya is a waste of space even in the ODI team.

So random.:roti:

You rarely find fat people in very poor families.

Although women in later years can be heavy even in poor families too. May be hormones....
