All I know is post 13 CT we are the side who is choking more. What happened before 13 has no relevance now. As after 13 barring one or two players most of the team are same.

after 13- kuldeep, bumrah, chahal, pandya, jadhav....shami also didnt play in ct 13

Look i knw under kohli high chances we ll choke but we are way ahead then england specialy in a pressure game

Our WC hopes hinge on RohKol, KulCha and BumSham.... to an extent PanDha

Most of the others are passengers.

So only 3 players are passenger. :p: Also in ICC tournaments, dhawan would be more clutch than tuk tuk and lottery Rohit Sharma.

When you pack the team with a lot of batsmen it's a double edged sword. Sometimes you don't know how to go about building an innings since the cushion of a long batting can make top order careless and irresponsible.

Yes, 3 in the XI and 7 in the squad. That's actually a lot.

Also, the problem is that all three in the XI are there to perform the same role - middle order. So there's no alternative.

That is why your west zone team from other thread will crash and burn :)

England batting looks strong but so will Australia’s if they plau Lynn and Maxwell in same linenup. They are bound to click after few failures and cause havoc like any other hitters.

Contrast that to our Guntur and Thala.

England batting looks so dangerous just like India's in 2011 that they dont even need a bowling attack to romp through sides .the format also suits them ,they are pretty good in the SFs generally

This part :p:.

What I meant is in Nikolas post he did a man to man analysis. India has more specialists than allrounders so obviously India May look stronger. However the batting and bowling depth of England gives them an edge.

I guess that's where I disagree. IMO we look stronger man to man only if we completely ignore the black hole of a middle order that we have.

Eng should be disappointed if they don't win the WC with this depth in batting. They are pretty similar to what Aus were in 2015 with regards to explosive batting depth.

Pretty much their WC to lose.

Time ll Tell. Kohli legacy in odi is definitely hinge on this WC after CT final humiliation.
