Stuff like this happens in democracies. There were enough doubts & stories in the public about 9/11.

Political crap like ours didn't happen as much in US until Trump came over and poked at institutions like FBI.

India was going very well during Musharraf era, but then Musharraf became weaker in Pakistan.

You have to understand that despite political will, Pakistan is not going to stop its activities in Indian Kashmir.

We are going only in circles. Indian side saying Kashmir is their part since thousands of years. While Pakistani side saying Pakistan was also a part in history, but not today. And the majority of Kashmiris not want to part of India. The best solution is when Kashmir becomes independent with International assurances for water and other issues.

Just want to ask you why kashmiri's don't want to be with India ? India has grown quite well and young people are desperate for holiday sites. Kashmir will be one of very prosperous state. The problem is their yearning for islamic ummah. Independent kashmir will be a disaster. It will be crushed between three nuclear powers who all will manipulate it through puppet Governments.

I am not a Congress sympathizer. But isn't BJP also using this incident to gain votes? They confirmed to Indian public that there were 300 casualties and now many international media have started to question that claim.

Even if there weren't any casualties, we should applaud the courage shown by our soldiers for carrying out this mission. If not now, they will surely succeed in the future. So why did BJP twist the facts and provide wrong numbers?

What do u mean? Suddenly our army became courageous enough to cross border and kill the terrorists?

Our army was is and will remain ready to cross the border. Its Hijadaas at Parliament who were shitting in pants at ver first diplomatic moove from Pakistan and resorted to kadee ninda

everything which is unknown is taken for magnificent, and distant drums sound sweeter.

Islamic Kashmir is never going to attract the tourists.

Islamists have become so much strong in Kashmir, that they will go for Sharia system in Kashmir just like Pakistan. And then we have to say good-bye to the tourism.

Muslims made Pakistan due  to this same dream, and look now where Pakistan is standing.

I am not very much familiar with Kashmir.

I believe there are Jihadists who want to be with Pakistan, but majority wants to be independent of both Pakistan and India, or perhaps there are also many who only want more autonomy only from India.

Unfortunately, the saffron politics in India are absolutely not helpful for the Kashmiris who want to stay with India. A real Secular and prosperous India would have been much more charming in order to stay with it.

^ No, Based on research carried out by India and Pakistan, covertly/overtly both countries know and agree with each other too that, Given a choice between India and Pakistan, Once on either side will overwhelmingly stay that side.

However if you out a third option of independence and unfied Kashmir, studies say that there is a significant chance that people voting emotionally for independence. But this option is not part of any discussion. However its also seen that Poltician from Pakistani Kashmir will become insignificant in Independent Kashmir, so they dont want independence while ince on Indian side will rather take it because they become rulers of whole Kashmir.

But I know, you are well aware of all this.

In this time when everyone is a walking reporter with live feeds nobody will believe you if you dont have proofs of any incident.

That may be the case with a country who's military have proven themselves to be lower scum than mercinaries by refusing to accept their dead ( Kargil), but thats not the case in countries with military who've always had the utmost integrity in their actions and following the orders of the government.

I'm not sure who stated that first but don't recall it being the official GoI position. Having said that you're right the BJP is also using this for vote bank politics, we'd have seen other steps if they were really serious about Pak. But hey theatrics sells & so long as BJP can "look" like doing something, they can get away with it.

Just look at this forum, even if we don't accept the Pak line about terror camps there's nothing to celebrate here especially given an IAF pilot was almost killed

All the positive coverage we received after the strike went down the drain when Imran offered peace & released the pilot. The people on this forum simply don't understand this logic that we haven't come out stronger after this incident, only confused at best. We still don't have a national policy to combat terror or the Pak-China nexus!

Imho, Wing Commander Abhinandan getting caught was an unfortunate event for India. The International attention it got and the peace drama subsequent to it portrayed an image of aggressive India and a pacifying peace friendly Pakistan. Indian image after the strike was that of a strong India getting over the age old meek policy of just condemning the terrorist attack on it's soil. But after the capture of WC it again changed to an adventurous kid who probably might not be as capable as percieved by the World.

Such a narrow perspective, whoever holds it. Organizations & Individuals like Hafiz Saeed are banned internationally & have a bounty for a long time. They just chill in that country, then & now.

I do not want to discuss Hijadaa policy of past. And unlike Bhakt like you, I do regard Indira Ji and Narsimha Rao as one of best PMs.

Just check number of attacks happened with casuaility count over 50 and then tell me if I am wrong not to call these Parliamentarian as Hijada

Global perception should not matter. It is our own responsibility to resolve the issue. Besides, if the liberal west keeps backing terrorism then it will also impact them. You can already see in the most liberal areas of west there are open demands for sharia even though they are in a minority.

That was hysterical. If anything, it showed as a country we aren't ready for war as there is immunity. Reality is in wars, we will lose some battles and win some others. A win 100% never happens in reality. And it's not the full blown war, but the Mahabharat is still there today and battles are happening every time. The good thing was at least under this government, first time, we have won some battles.

If India is to become a superpower, it cannot look for certificates from the West. Look at the other big countries, they don't care what the west and their media talks about them.

But the difference is it wasn't at the political level. In US, weather its right or left side, both believe in Amercian exceptionalism, and always behind their armed forces. Here, we clearly see one side doesn't even believe it's own army actions, words, and instead ridicule them. Thus, anti-nationals is an apt name for them
