When he scores, he scores big, but if he doesn't he isn't that great. He can legitimately get out on a low score while killing any momentum at the start of an innings, and he can't run between the wickets, so he makes his partner worse in that regard: no quick singles. Hetmeyer is a new player who has shifted between different positions in the order in the games played so far. Kohli needs to pick a slot for him to bat at and give him a consistent run there.
