who will they make the captain ??

ABDV.....equally bad captain

Chahal- i doubt

rest no one has a fixed place only

It's presumptuous to say "ABDV.....equally bad captain" without trying him in IPL.

Anyway, when a captain is so out of sorts for so many seasons, he has to be kicked out, irrespective of how good or bad his replacement is.

How many times the team players and fans have to listen to the same BS from the same man after loss after loss.

A change of energy at the top is a must now. Make AB the captain for the rest of the season. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But Virat has no credibility left as RCB captain, and must be sacked.

Former India opener Gautam Gambhir said the India batting great was "very lucky" to be retained as captain by his franchise.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan ridiculed Bangalore's tactics. "They look in shambles, the strategy they had pre-tournament has all been ripped. They are just picking tactics out of the hat as they go along," Vaughan told the Cricbuzz website.

It’s very difficult to go with the same eleven every time, says RCB coach Ashish Nehra

https://www.crictracker.com/its-very-difficult-to-go-with-the-same-eleven-every-time-says-rcb-coach-ashish-nehra/

Nehra, as quoted by Cricbuzz, pointed out that barring the Sunrisers who have the likes of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow in their arsenal, every other team in this of the IPL have very unsettled batting orders. “If you look at any franchise, there will be hardly one or two sides which have the likes of Bairstow and Warner who are in good nick and they are openers too. And if you look at the other teams, the batting order keeps shuffling. I have seen KKR where Nitish Rana did well at the top and they have changed that slot in the next game,” Nehra said.

You have to be on top of your game, says Nehra

The former fast bowler raised the case of many franchises including the Mumbai Indians wherein he pointed out that the skipper Rohit Sharma often chooses not to open the batting for Mumbai. “And like we have seen many times with Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma doesn’t open the batting.

This is such a fast-paced game where you might lose a couple of games here and there and you have to think what those little alterations could be done. It’s very difficult to go with the same eleven every time. If you see, Harbhajan (Singh) was the Man of the Match in the first game and he didn’t get to play the third game which was also at the same venue (Chepauk).”

Pressing that the format of the IPL requires a “need of the hour” kind adjustments, Nehra concluding by saying: “You have to be on top of your game, There will be a few games where you play well and still end up on the losing side, and at the same time there will be games where you don’t really perform upto the mark and still end up winning.”

Virat Kohli hints at significant changes in RCB’s next game

https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-virat-kohli-hints-at-significant-changes-in-rcbs-next-game/

We can turn things around

However, RCB’s barren streak continued as the Royals got better of them. But captain Virat Kohli is confident of turning things around in the near future. “When team hasn’t got off to a great start then bodies in the outfield can be a bit stiff. There can be a bit of nervousness. In four games, we would have wanted one or maybe two games to go our way. We have 10 games to go, hopefully, we can turn things around. We played well against Mumbai and in this game,” he said in the post-match presentation.

The Indian captain also indicated at making changes in the side to get the right mix for upcoming IPL matches and felt that the fresh players will make the difference to the team.

“This tournament is not that long, it is not going to go on for months and you have to think on your feet and have to think about the best combination going forward. Hopefully, we will get fresh guys in and they can give a match-winning performance.,” the RCB skipper added.

RCB players and international women cricketers to play an exhibition match

https://www.crictracker.com/rcb-players-and-international-women-cricketers-to-play-an-exhibition-match/

As part of a campaign launched by Royal Challenge Sports Drink, there will be a unique mixed gender T20 exhibition game, in which few players from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team and a few international women cricketers will take part. The likes of Virat Kohli, Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj are expected to be the big names in the game. Fans can vote to support the campaign online.

Speaking on the game and on breaking stereotypes, the RCB skipper said that cricket sees no gender, and both men and women have equal rights in sports. He further urged fans to not look at women cricketers as mere adjuncts to men’s cricket.

“Be it men or women, cricket is one game, and I want to urge fans to break the boundaries that exist in their mind that divides the sport by gender. Equality in sports is ultimately a reflection of equality in life, and if we want a better tomorrow, then we need to say #ChallengeAccepted and start breaking down all stereotypes,” Kohli stated in a press release.

Inequality in salaries

The captain of the women’s team, Mithali Raj too spoke about the campaign, saying that although Indian women’s cricket has been acknowledged ever since their World Cup campaign in 2017 in England, there still remains a lot of inequality when you compare the coverage and salary of both men and women cricket.

“Over the recent years, women’s cricket has made a lot of progress in terms of earning respect from fans and experts, but the playing field is still not equal. The true difference is seen when there is parity in opportunities, salaries, coverage and fan support,” Mithali said.

The date and venue of the exhibition game are yet to be decided.

decision making in the field and batting line-up been horrendous this season

and hetmayer being a total dud and taking up overseas spot hasn't helped.

Hetmyer is too inconsistent a player to be picked in 4 foreign players slot. At best he can be a backup given that WI allow players to play full IPL season. Klaasen is another inconsistent batsmen which RCB have picked. More suited for backup than one of the 4 main foreing players.

How many more humiliating losses? Will he ever resign? Is there zero accountability on him as captain?

2017 - 3W, 10L

2018 - 6W, 8L

2019 - 0W, 5L

9W and 23L in the last 2-3 IPLs.

There were 5-10 captains across all IPLs who resigned or were sacked during the tournament for lack of results.

If he was a Football team manager he would have been sacked multiple times if he had given performance like this. :giggle:
