Did selectors commit a blunder by selecting blunt overrated B Kumar?

So the selectors selected blunt spearhead B Kumar who avgs nearly 36 in Odis.

 

The pitches of the 1st two matches show that there is plenty of pace and bounce. A Saini would have been far more useful than Kumar.

 

Kumar is extremely overrated in ODIs. He has a very high avg.

Not at all, Bhuvi is a capable number 8 batsman and decent enough fielder. Our tail sucks, our fielding sucks, as an overall package Bhuvi is a perfectly logical choice. Now we need to use him efficiently with the ball, that's all.

the only blunder it seems has been the selection of Jadeja, no foresight or nous has been shown by captain and selectors

Saini could have been played in place of someone like Shankar, whose utility is extremely limited.
