I knew Vijay Shankar's selection would screw India in one game. His good fortune is India's bad fortune. He is far from ready for international cricket, let alone playing in WC against Pak.

Where are you getting your rumours from? Every site is saying Shami is not playing

So true. He is good enough to play a tournament like Nidahas trophy but not world cup ffs

Shankar's inclusion is a formality because no other batting option  to replace Dhawan due to selectors bone headed decision  to select to two wkts keepers and two pace all rounders

 

2 squad selections have been wasted for this WC

Kuldeep is a different entity altogether. Pak batsmen have never faced him before. He will be a good option I reckon.

They have in the Asia cup. Got Babar with a wrong un in one match. Also got Fakhar lbw in the other. Different conditions though

Am I taking crazy pills ?  Why doesnt anyone recognize Vijay Shankar for the hack he is ? Does one fluke performance against Australia is all it takes to get picked in World Cup. Crazy stuff.
