on actual topic: issue should only be whether a selector can visit pitch/ground before match? if rule says NO, then ICC or whoever should ask him! but dressing can't/should'nt be an issue since he is not a part of team/coaching staff...

And that is nothing to be proud of.  we would not want our chief selector MSK prasad to be in Dhoti Kurta wearing Tilak on forehead to roam around the pitch with our captain.  People need to keep their religions at home when they are involved a professional setup

I have a question on how Pant was allowed to come into the ground during the India vs Pak match as well..

Pant wasn't part of the squad during the match and had no business being there.

Pant was sent as a standbye for Dhawan like we had net bowlers in Avesh, Saini, Khaleel, Chahar and were on the field.  Same way Pant was on the field. On the ground is not a problem, but problem is on the pitch which is a sensitive zone.

India has 170 mil Muslims there is too much of this qtiapa going on there no one cares, people are more focused on getting food on table, electricity, roads and water.
