And what about Shaheen Afridi ? The best bowler from either side today. A future star ? ?

Babar played a match winning today, but 19 year old tall fast bowler Afridi played an equally important part in today's victory over Kiwis. He broke the back of Kiwi batting with 3-12 in 8 overs at one stage. His last two overs cost him some runs , still very impressive match figure of 10-3-28-3. Just last year he was playing under 19 WC and now improving with every game . Certainly one to watch for as a potential future star.

tips from Akram, his quick learning and adjustments according to conditions (which he was supposed to do vs Aus as well) helped him...

Nothing but glimpses of pitched brilliance. As long he doesn't correct his action right from arching his ball to releasing, he will be tonked in other matches

Hope he plays against India, if Pak qualifies. He has to experience what legends like Wasim, Waqar and Shoaib experienced when facing upto the famed Indian batting line-up in a WC - fear!

Our batting might is a thing of the past. Now we only have top 2. Rest of the batting is faltu.

He can be pakistans version of Mustafizur, both are similarly built and has similar actions, but having said that mustafizur is a foxy bowler, SSA is still young and needs further development.

Similarly built? One is 5-9 and other 6-5 , eight inches taller .

Mustafizur Rahman is not 5.9" he's 5.11", both are lanky with slingy action, he would do good for himself if he can be as good as Fiz.

He is inconsistent. needs to give such performance on a regular basis. Having said that, he is definitely a talent. I'd say, he can take Amir's position in the future.

His pace is up and down. fast mediumish.

He has clean action.

was going thru the highlights ....  in the slow motion of one wkt taking delivery  it seemed he seemed to be slightly bending straightening his arms ... may be it was because of the slow motion effect...

Afridi should aim high, not another Fiz like bowler , which are many around. Also physically he is not just taller but stronger and pacier also. One is a Pathan and other a Bengali.
