jalebi_bhai Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 We've chased only twice this World Cup. I think we need to try and test our preparedness for batting in the second innings. Lanka are a side with decent bowlers so we'll be up against a decent attack. Let's discuss..
velu Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 not a bad idea .. will be a much needed practice as well jalebi_bhai 1
Master_better Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 We need to chase a 330 plus target to get maximum practice
coffee_rules Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Except for BD chasing 323 NZ/Ind chasing 245/230+ against SA Pak chasing NZ 230+ Nobody has chased. It is futile. We should look to bat first and win. There is no point in chasing in this WC. India defended 224/268 against Afg/WI.. No need to try to chase 270+ scores against Top teams

Nikola Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 What if aus loose match vs south africa tomorrow and while chasing we loose close contest? why take risk when there is chance to play New Zealand book ticket for final.

Vijy Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 we can chase, but anything over 300 will be next to impossible.
cowboysfan Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 let's try winning the game first, lankans are not a ulla team.
Nash Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Can India chase 300 against Australia? it will be define movement of the tournament the day india chase anything more than 250 with Dhoni's 150 SR.
Stuge Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 India should bowl first and allow Sri Lanka to score 375runs then bundle out by 150 all out that should set icf on fire for next week .
Stan AF Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Errr!! we still need to win the game in the offchance that sa beat aus.

That means ,if we are to win the cup, we should win both tosses in semi & final(provided we reach there) , isn't it?
