There isn’t another such well written character in any tv show. Walter white no doubt is right up there but tony character is still better. Gandolfini has done such a brilliant job. RIP Big Man.

I mean even today no matter how many people tried to reboot it, no one even came close to the original performances. We go overboard for foreign shows but we need to appreciate brilliant performances at home too, whoever did the casting for the 80's 90's Mahabharata serial deserves top most film honors Edited October 15, 2019 by maniac raki05 and velu 1 1

Norman Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Great timing for bumping this thread. Just finished watching Peaky Blinders (all seasons) and hands down Thomas Shelby is the best TV character ever IMO. Cillian Murphy absolutely nailed it down.

The sets and graphics look dated today but the performances are solid starting from the lead characters (Bhishma, Krishna, etc) down to the small characters. Today's versions with 6-pack, wooden-faced actors can't hold a candle to the classic version. zen, raki05 and maniac 3
Gambit Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Omar Little (The Wire) Stringer Bell (The Wire) Tony Soprano (The Sopranos) Walter White (Breaking Bad) Fox Mulder and Dana Scully (The X-Files) Jamie Lannister (Game of Thrones) Michael Scott (The Office) Jimmy Cliff 1
Muloghonto Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 I’d say some great one missing from the list are characters from Rome: Ciaran Hinds as Caesar, the guys who play Titus Pullover and Vorenus, Posca and Marc Anthony, Atia are all some of the best characters on the small screen.

She's just adorable in TMMM. Vijy 1
Stan AF Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 There are many but I'll start with Red Forman from that 70s show. His responses are my reaction for 3/4th posts herein this forum. This is a severely underrated sitcom !!!.
