Something's surely fishy. It may as well just be precautionary measure before the independence day. But, rumours are that article 35A or section 370 is going to be removed. The local Kashmiri political parties are reportedly in panic mode and the Army and air force are on high alert.

This is just Home Minister Shah playing safe. Jaitley was too big a member of the BJP to not get one of the big portfolios, but this Sitaraman was nothing special as RM and then gets moved to FM. Not big enough reason to recall the yatris. Yatras have been stopped for sometime but I don't think they have been recalled midways. Outsider students have also been asked to leave kashmir. It is either something big or they didn't go through it for some reason.
