Then the spokesperson is doing PR for the army. I mean what other choice does she have - toe the line or "accidental" death. This will never happen

Police have arrested the culprits and registered an FIR under the country's blasphemy laws against them.

Arrests are done nominally in these circumstances. You should know that. Don't act all surprised. India is no different. Lots of politicians get arrested, live in great living quarters in jail and get out after a while.

It is a complete myth that Ranjit Singh used the Badshahi mosque as a stable for his horses.

 

He was known to be a tolerant ruler and built more mosques and mandirs than he did gurdwaras.

I doubt they will restore it. If they do, it mustl be covered by NYT, CNN, BBC and other corps. If they aren’t covering then Pakistani will not ever go against the basic tenant of Islam.

You didn't provide jack sh1t. You quoted from the article saying it will be constructed in the future. It hasn't happened yet. You didn't provide proof that it was being constructed right now.
