sandeep
To be blunt, its not like Agarwal's that much better than Dhawan - both are guys with pro-active scoring attitudes, and less than perfect technique. Mayank is a bit younger and less worked out by opposition bowlers and coaches - so far. rahulrulezz 1 Link to comment

maniac
Playing along side Dhawan might benefit youngsters. Seems like an unselfish bloke so hope he acts as a mentor instead of this dumb pipe dream of playing for India again in tests Suhaan 1 Link to comment

Is that not enough to prove that Mayank is far better than Dhawan in tests. Suhaan 1 Link to comment

Mayank only has 2 good years in Ranji behind him, before that he was notoriously inconsistent. Admittedly one of his 2 good years was a huge one with a bunch of hundreds. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see Mayank turn out better than Dhawan. But haven't seen much evidence to that effect just yet. Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
Doesn't have to score runs, just wait for Mayank Agrawal to have a couple of failures or get out playing shots which the TM does not like. Cricwala 1 Link to comment

The Realist
His close relationship with Captain Phillips means the comeback door is always open despite his thigh slapping average being greater than his test stats. Forever Indian and nevada 2 Link to comment
javier26
Still over 3 days remaining in the match... Not everyone gets this opportunity.. If Agarwal reaches 200 today then he can bat sensibly to reach 300 and dare i say even 400 tomorrow... Lot of time left in the match. Link to comment

Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Shaw should target couple of county seasons to tighten up his game, will also help toughen him up mentally...let mayank-rohit combo be given proper run through this test championship cycle till 2021. Shaw can go as reserve opener on tours. Link to comment
