Common he has just started his career and looks million dollar in first inning compare to Kohli and rahane. He LL be alright playing more matches and who knows what instructions TM has given to him.

Shaw is not that bad a short ball player. But my guess is since he is standing way outside the crease ball will get big on him for sure. In normal position he can deal with it. But he is standing there to negate swing.

He is not made for international cricket. Never looked like one with sone serious technical flaws.

His defense and short selection will get better and so will his game. Look at how kohli overcame some of his challenges.

I don't think he is bad. It is his stance that did him in.

Both openers going cheaply tilts the game in NZ's favor.  I think India need a target north of 270 to have a chance.  That is a long, long way away.

India needs to attack and put some pressure on kiwis to have any chance. But surely we will wonder and die. An encore of joburg 2018 is the need of the hour

Smith thrives in these match situations and conditions, almost always gets 50+ scores, often 100s. We are watching you V.

Please don't take those 2 names in the same sentence. It's massive disrespect towards Smith

He will smash double at strike rate of 70

Shaw plays with a distinct lack of wrist when he works the ball onto the leg side something which teams will try to exploit too. Other than that he has talent but one or 2 issues he needs to work on if he is not going to be a walking wicket who can only score as much as he can before perishing. Even sehwag had a defensive technique he could rely on.
