The anti-CAA protests has shown that riots, violence, occupy, damage of properties is all acceptable. People have foolishly termed it "heroic", thus they have opened a Pandora's box. Thus, law & order is compromised, and anticipate that this will grow. This Ramzan will be challenging as expect increasing assertion and violence... First off, there was no lockdown during Holi. It started well after Holi. Also, how is keeping a store open a violation of the lockdown? Essential stores are open during the lockdown. What exactly is the appeasement here? This year the Sehri dua is between 4:45-5:00 am. I don't see what the benefit of keeping the store open till noon, if this move is specifically for Muslims. Why for Ramzan? It’s not only in India, there are county government measures that supply food to fast observers in USA as well. The noon deadline from 330 am could be for food preparation for the eve fast breaking - Iftar, Haleem and what have you. Why is a call to come to Mosques be not restricted during lockdown? They didn’t let it happen and we have azaan all 5 times during lockdown. Indian Muslim leaders should ask people to celebrate Ramzan in their homes.. Who is justifying the crazy and dangerous congregation at mosques for Ramzan during the times of Corona?? The police haven't said anything of the sort. They are permitting essential stores to be open. There is no appeasement there. Can you tell me how exactly opening an essential store through the night is a violation of the lockdown? There have been umpteen number of calls by religious leaders of sorts asking Muslims to observe the Ramzan fasts and offer prayers at home. A simple google search will help you. You show some pics of mosque in Ahmedabad. You better take that up with the ruling party there and ask them about Muslim appeasement. During Ramzaan, if people are fasting, not sure, they will have same level of immunity. So, This appeasement may sell easily but it has hallmark of standard Congress era BS where admin do not value life of its citizens. Plasma therapy is workng, and admins will afford that , hence they do kot care. This is why I hate Congress and its communal policies. Its not just appeasement, in long run, its divisive and destructive to everyone including Muslims. PS: If city like Prayagraj gets declared 100% corona free, It helps every resident of city irrespective of religion. But Yogi gets flak for arresting Tableeghis.
