This overrated umpire always had it in for india. No idea why. The worst of it was the test match in Australia in 2007.

Bucknor would probably have 50% of his decisions overruled by India, he was a grade A****hole against us

I doubt he had anything against India.

 

He was just poor umpire. He used to give shockers against other teams also.

Bucknor gave a not out in favor of India in 2007 Eng series

Nah, there was clear instances he was definitely out to screw India, which is when Indians started complaining. Errors don't favor one single team so much, of course you can point to one or two instances when his decisions went India's way, but there were entire series when all the blunders went to oppositions and he particularly targeted batsmen like Sachin

Was he the guy who gave Sachin/Dravid out against Abdul Eazzak during 2005 series. That ball missed bat by good two inches.

One of the worst umpires ever to have officiated in Cricket. He has nerve to say to err is human. No human umpires make mistakes he made thruout his career and survive.

that 2008 australia series was where the straw broke the camel's back. of course it got framed as an irrational witch hunt under the tumultuous circumstances of that series.
