The Dhoni/CSK lacklustre performance so far could be a “protest or show of displeasure” Dhoni style. Raina was very close to Dhoni. So much that there were allegations that Raina even used to do Grocery shopping For Dhoni house hold (That responsibility is now been taken by Kedar)... Dhoni would’ve been very unhappy to lose Raina like that. Raina has given so much to CSK. Because if a personal tragedy he had to skip this years IPL... Didn’t expected this from CSK management.

Raina was not happy with the bio bubble.thingy and wanted to get out before the tragedy occurred. CSK management first said they support Raina fully and then they ditched him. Raina would have expected some payment for taking the trouble of going to the UAE but he is getting zilch. That innings in the SF was the worst I can think of, in terms of leadership he has been lacking since 2011 & then just ran away with tail between his legs during the 2015 test tour of Oz.
