For that to happen he never should have been made captain. Only players I have seen not succumb to captaincy pressures and change their game are Rohit in IPL .Kohli and Ponting in international cricket. He has such a brittle middle order to worry about. But the point is this is going nowhere. He just needs to bat as he normally does. Captaincy in the IPL is only as good as the team you've got. They should play Gayle at no 3. With Rahul going Ultra slow in Powerplay. Mayank at least ensures They get to 50 in first six overs. Gayle takes time to settle & he is better at hitting spinners.
