U cant select a player for one test, Neways chahar wud be there with squad .

Better consider Prasidh or even Tyagi than below avarage Thakur who lacks height and pace which plays a huge role in Australia

Indian selectors lacks basic cricket acumen,they go with same rotten traditional thing ie go with experience

We didn't have Umesh last time ,enough to win our first series down under

Umesh with his inability with Kookaburra is a liability in the first place,so even if we fly Saini in Australia ,we are again going to waste first 2 tests on Umesh to know his worth as if 2 past tours weren't enough

With Thakur threat looming our chances of making championship final look quite bleak

Take a big squad accomodate Prasidh ,Tyagi ,these guys are tall and will certainly do better than Thakur,Umesh

Sadly umesh will go for sure and will start ahead of Saini also , knowing our TM they will play umesh for his outswing in pink ball test

but what will happen is umesh will keep bowling on leg trying to get that massive outswing but end up getting hit for runs all day long

We will lose every single test that Umesh plays, he will go at 5-6 rpo and make a fool of himself and our TM yet again. IMO Chahar is a must for DN test. We are taking a big squad, no? Just ask Chahar to stay back for 1st test, what's the big deal?
