They  know with this crumbling pitch they don’t require 450. If they do bat that long gives us a chance to draw but slim ...again would depend on Rohit  king julien norunhane and Pujara .

All Indian fans hoping for it to not happen,  but we have all seen it many times in past.  High probability of India folding easily.

Hope is to get close 260 behind ( being realistic ) but have a feeling it will be 290 ...

 

odds of 100 runs partnership by these two is slim . Looking at recent performances put in by them ...a failure is around the corner

I would not be surprised one bit if India chase even 400 plus down. 

 

England won't declare so quickly. Pant factor is there.

It would depend upon how the pitch behaves on day 5 ... Usually, the 2nd innings score is lower than the first so if Ind gets 300 in its 1st, it is likely that it won't be able to score more than that in the 2nd unless something unusual happens (outlier tests such as Kolkata 2001 for e.g.) 

 

If Ind gets bowled out for 325 or less, Eng can afford to give follow on (assuming that bowlers are eager to go back in the heat) as Ind is more likely to get bowled out for 325 or less (unless as mentioned something unusual happens), leaving Eng with less than 100 to chase

Anything can happen in cricket/sports but the most likely scenario is that teams score less in their 2nd innings. As mentioned, if Ind gets bowled out for 325 or less, chances are Ind would score 325 or less in their 2nd inning (unless the pitch becomes easier to bat for some unknown reasons), which means Eng would be ok with scoring 100 or so (even less) whether they decide to bat in the 3rd or 4th innings

Bess is such a joke..  I've never seen a frontline spinner who has little control over his lengths in a long time.  Tells a lot about how pathetic Kohli Rahane are against spin.  They are not even fit enough to tie shoelaces of SRT & Dravid.  

Both midgets need to use either sweep or try to reach at pitch l or better step out & play occasionally.
