BCCI needs to take lessons learnt, because it will be a nightmare in IPL with teams and large entourage of staff travelling across India every other day.

There are two aspects to this mismanagement by PCB. First, I think they should have been smart & played without crowds. Second, they should have called this off when first few cases were discovered. They were really greedy in continuing the tournament it seemed. Highly unprofessional.

This is poor. One would have thought they would have learnt their lesson after what happened in NZ.

IPL should limit the tournament to one city or state. Like play in Maharashtra and have matches in Mumbai and Pune and go to Ahmedabad for finals. Switching bio secure bubbles is not the way to go. UAE is small so from what I can gather, teams stayed in the hotels they were allotted to for the whole tournament but same can't happen in India.

 

As for PSL, I already said its impossible to have a bio secure bubble in Pakistan a country where people think COVID is a myth and even the PM himself hardly follows the SOPs. I was surprised that they were able to host SA and Zimbabwe without any hiccups. According to one of the franchise owners, they had one test before the tournament and then they had a test after Fawad showed symptoms.

 Dr Nauman and Afridi said it too. It's probably true and they allowed him to play because they thought the case was historical since he already had COVID last year before England tour. PCB is really dumb.

This is a general feeling among Muslims even in India, I hard a Muslim carpenter working in my apartment the other day, he was giving me a different gyaan altogether, his exact words were, "Saab Yeh Corona Birona Kuch nahi hai, yeh Sab America aur Cheen ki saazish hai paise kamane ki".

This is a general feeling among all the BAMEs in the UK and even white people. I don't think it has anything to do with religion but the problem arises when you resort to religion for everything wrong in the world and ask for divine intervention or being like jo allah/bhagwan chahe waisa hota hai etc

This is nothing to do with Muslims, its the general sentiment in middle class and poor India. Stop spreading communalism
