Jadeja, like many Ind players, plays for not outs (stat padding), Curran plays for impact ... no comparison

Don't think so. Jadeja is limited in the range of shots. His grip and stance is such that it feels his bat swing stiffened and can't play all around the ground.

So are you agreeing with me that Curran is a better hitter?

The English have been practicing lots of range hitting since the 2015 WC. The results are showing. We are quite behind them when it comes to innovations.

Btw Jadeja isn't far behind Curran. It was Curran's day today.

Jadeja has done zilch in his 13 yr old stretched t20 career with bat. Curran is better, it's that he doesnt get to bat much for England LOIs, he has showed what he is capable of in last ODI.

Jadeja is the true chela of Dhoni not Pant, gets a few hits here and there and tries to stay not out.

Also, lot of the hits in garbage time after killing a chase and the opposition's intensity drops. Dhoni does this to perfection to pad his stats and Jaddu has learnt very well. To give credit where it is due, Jaddu did well in the LOIs in Australia, but it remains to be seen if it was an aberration which will be followed by inevitable reversion to the mean.

He can be decent support at best, needs a guy like Hardik Pandya at the other end to do the heavy lifting if we are to win anything otherwise all that will look good is his average.

Yes , specially when someone ha sto hit from ball 1. Jaddu is good when he is set, or else he tries to hard and ends up loosing his base, shape n balance all. Jadeja has gotten better but curran by time he ll reach jaddy stage wud be very good, wnt be surprised if he is batting at 6 . Jaddu does play short ball better though

His range isnt great either. He needs time to get in or else he tries to hard which spoils everything for him. His game is just not made for no.7 . At his spot u either need power like pollard, russell or hardik or a range of shots like sky, dk , maxwell has

I don't know man, this new and improved Jadeja really surprised me with his batting in the australia loi series.  I think he is the kind of batsman who needs some ball before launching a blitzkrieg but when he does it he can compete with anyone.
