Note- Knowing perfectly i can look like a fool for making such a thread, still going ahead

Both are quality t20 players and will still win u games here and there but in long term they arent making same impact as they use to so its better their teams move on from them

Bravo

  • Always relied in slower ones which actually was found out years ago, Intially he cud hit good speeds as well which helped him mix up his pace but now that aint the case
  • His batting has declined very badly

Narine

  • Batting is pure hit n miss
  • Bowling- ever since his action change he doesnt have same impact. Even though still isnt bad with ball but lacks impact

With only 4 overseas players allowed teams need to look at player who can have impact in more then 4-5 games atleast

Shakib is going to replace Narine. Their main worry is going to be keeping Russell fit throughout the season & his form is very very important for them.

KKR have got Morgan, Russell, Shakib, Cummins, Cutting, Lockie and Seiferrt besides Narine. Morgan, Russell, Shakib and Cummins/Lockie should be the first choices. Narine should be the 6th choice. Pick Shakib anyday over Narinde.

CSK have Faf, Moeen, Sam Curran, Ngidi, Tahir and Santner besides Bravo. Beherendoff is not even with the team. From next match onwards Ngidi will come in and on spinning tracks Tahir/Santner are better options. But knowing Dhoni/CSK, loyalty matters more, so Moeen may be dropped for Ngidi.

that shud happen and he shud bat at 3

Russell problem area has been found and it was exploited very well on UAE pitches, lets see how opposition teams use it this time

At Wankhede, Ngidi will be a better option. In the next leg at Delhi, Tahir or Santner. And at Bengaluru, well pick anyone

CSK has to look beyond dhoni first

Absolutely.. But the oldies at CSK (management and players) still don't believe that.. Kasi Vishwanath just said this might not be Dhoni's last season with CSK.. Wonder spending 15 crore to retain him next season

If anything CSK would have made the playoffs last season if not for Dhoni and Jadhav

Pathetic management, they haven't developed any local talent in all these years. All their superstars are either overseas players or Indians who are already past their best. The oldies are milking what little is left of their cricketing careers & the management is letting them.

CSK claimed in a tweet, Barvo's performance was a bright spot in their last game, so I wouldn't be surprised if they end up doing this.

Of course. Anyone 35+ gets a first preference for CSK

Again they are playing with their exact real ages which we don't see to an extent in Sub continent.  A 35 year old Indian or Pakistani maybe beyond finished but that doesn't necessarily mean other counties players are finished at similar age.  Their reflexes still look top class.   Faf is clear example..  His fitness & reflexes will put any 19-20 year old guy to shame.  His Yo Yo test numbers if revealed will be ridiculous.

Narine after his action issues- started hiding ball , worked on more variation

Regd bravo these 2 were his issues

  • Worked on his batting, god chances to bat up also in CPL n Wi-Aus series made runs
  • Started bowling Slower one as variation again rather making it his stock ball

Maybe it's right that experience is most valuable in this format of the game, especially when fitness demands are also the least.
