MODI should call up Justin Trudeau and get a quick crash course on apologising ( as he is premier expert in saying a lot without giving any info and apologising) and quickly do an elaborate apology to Sikhs world wide on the 84 sih riots..and also say that preprators would be brought to justice.

Things not so easy. Our courts plain suck. Not just in this case. Things move slowly and most riot accused are lawyerd up. Congress cg at the time brushed things under the carpet. Hard to prove anything. Packages have been announced (even by the congress under mms) for financial support to makes amends. Amrinder Singh the current cm of punjab quit the congress in 1984 due to bluestar before rejoining in late 90s. The congress which was at the forefront of riots in 1984 was back in power in punjab in 1992. Amrinder has no issues mingling with riot accused kamal nath. The truth is apart from titular position in the minds of Sikhs in india, 1984 is simply not a political issue.
